There has been embarrassing photos of Naomi floating around all the blogs, tumblr's and FaceBook.
Since the "Afro" American Communities are embracing Circa 1960's, 1970's Movement of Natural hair (No Perms, Less weaves- I'm Black and I'm Proud). Naomi Pics have been the poster child examples of what hair weave gone wrong can do to the beautiful natural textures black people possess. The years of hair stylist abuse and tight weaves has cost her, her edges and given her Traction Alopecia. Some areas of her hair might be restored by using Jamaican Black Castor Oil as a hair and scalp conditioner. However, in some cases it can only grow back by hair transplant surgery.
Personally, I am proud of her. It took alot of VJJ to do the opposite of what the fashion industry considers beautiful (cause as Betty White would say balls are to sensative and VJJ can handle a pounding and birth). She presented herself on a global scale making a statement that she is a black woman, this is how it is supposed to look and "ain't" nothin wrong with the texture of our hair in the fashion world.......Go Naomi. Now we have a real pic of you vs the Photoshopped Dredlocked Naomi we were hoping to see.
